This photograph was on display in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History as part of the Wilderness Forever exhibit, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act.

This magnificent eagle crashed and cartwheeled into the ocean. After a few moments of stunned floating, he swam towards shore using his wings as oars. His problem? He couldn't fly with such a big salmon.
